Top places to visit on India group tour with Venice of East

Within the palace of City Palace there do exist other 11 magnificent palaces constructed during the different period of history.              

Bagore Ki Haveli is another important site that you should not miss on the group tour of Udaipur. The Haveli is situated by the Pichola Lake as well.  It was during 18th century it was made by Amir Chand Badwa, Chief Minister at the Royal Court of Mewar. As the palace was the spot of Residence of Maharana Shakti Singh of Bagore in the year 1878, therefore it is known to be as Bagore Ki Haveli.  Later on Haveli was converted into a museum though with existing architectural touch of the museum. The Haveli has more than 100 rooms and looks splendid with its unique style of architecture.

Kumbhalgarh Fort situated on the 1180 meter high ridge is another important attraction in the city of Udaipur. One of the strongest forts of Rajasthan is also the birth place of famous warrior and King of Mewar, Maharana Pratap.

Man Made Lake Pichhola is another wonderful place that one should see on India Group Tour to the city of Udaipur. The Lake Pichola was constructed in 1362 AD by Rana Udai Singh and was further extended during 16th century.  The Lake is surrounded by hills, magnificent palaces, temples and bathing ghats.
